Airport Info
Yes!! Marquette DOES have an airport!! Just because the planes only seat 20 people and the same woman that checks you in at the gate is the same person and loads your luggage on the plane doesnt' mean you can't fly here. The airport is called Sawyer International Airport (don't ask about the 'International' thing because they only fly in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota). The airport is actually located just outside of Marquette, so it'll take about 20 minutes to get into town. Currently, American Eagle fly small jets from Chicago and Northwest Airlines fly small turbo-props from Detroit and Minneapolis.
